It gives us immense pleasure to cordially invite you to two days workshop on "Ultrasound (USG) guided nerve blocks and Vascular access". In this workshop there will be a series of lectures on role of ultrasound in nerve blocks & vascular access followed by hands on training sessions.

Ultrasound Guided Nerve Blocks are becoming increasingly popular for perioperative Regional Anaesthesia because of the low failure rates and less amount of the local anaesthetic agents required, thus increasing the safety of the patient. It is the time that all anaesthesiologists should be familiar with different types of blocks using ultrasound. The Department of Anaesthesia, AIIMS, Jodhpur has taken a lead in this direction, as for the first time in the western Rajasthan, we are organizing "AIIMS Ultrasound Guided Regional Anaesthesia Workshop" in collaboration with AIIMS, Delhi on 19^th March 2016. Various National Faculty of repute and expert in the subject will give lectures, discuss and demonstrate different nerve blocks on human volunteers.This is an opportunity particularly for the young budding anaesthesiologists to learn, interact, discuss the subject with the experts and to do "Hands-On"practice on Cadavers/Phantom. On the second day (20^th March) there will be presentations on ultrasound guided vascular access followed by demonstration on the human volunteers. The seats are limited to 35 only on first come first serve basis. Prior registration is mandatory as there will not be any "Spot Registration "
